This is a 2017 GLC model in the US.To be honest, you don’t need to lift your vehicle because the drain plug is pretty closed to the front edge of your driver side. You will need a needle-nose plier to unscrew it and turn around 180 degree to let the original coolant drain out completely.
You might be only able to refill 1 gallon Valvoline Rerex G40 first after draining out all of old coolant, then you need to start the engine for driving around 10 minutes.After that, you will get a warning message from your panel screen for the low level of coolant. Stop your vehicle and wait for another 10 or 15 minutes to let the engine cool down a little bit for refilling another 0.5 gallon Rerex G40.
Warning: Don’t open the lid of reservoir containing the coolant once you stop your vehicle immediately since the hot coolant will break out with the pressure from the reservoir. You should let the engine cool down a little bit for refilling the remaining 0.5 gallon Zerex G40.
