Okay, so I made this video BEFORE all the Google stuff went down. But I've spoken to Honor and they said this device is unaffected... for now. Obviously, what's happened to Huawei is deadly serious and if this doesn't get resolved, all Huawei and Honor phones will be in trouble. As of now I'll judge the phone in a vacuum and ignore the outside drama.
But I'd hold off buying this if I was a consumer. Wait until more developments with this US/Huawei thing. It's likely the US is just doing this as a bargaining chip and will take away the ban as long as China agrees to some of Trump's demands.
