On Wednesday, the Supreme Court issued a stay order halting the ongoing demolition efforts by railway authorities. These efforts were purportedly aimed at removing unauthorised structures near the Krishna Janmabhoomi in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura. The stay is effective for a period of 10 days.
