I recently discovered that many aftermarket Ni-cad to Lithium-Ion battery adapters are out on the market. That is a game changer for older battery powered tools! The tools are usually still good when the packs go bad, now you can ditch the Ni-cads for more modern Li-ion battery technology. I found adapters available for most popular tool manufacturers, so take a look out there and see what is available...then dust those old tools off and put them back to work!
