I started writing a hexameter adaptation of the Genesis creation narrative, taking linguistic cues from Jerome's Vulgate and the Hebrew narrative. (There is not much subordination of clauses in this poem, because the Hebrew narrative style likes to use "and" to link coordinate clauses.)

So far I have only written the first day, but I've enjoyed the process immensely. Let me know if you've enjoyed reading it. In the future I may finish all six days.
