➡️ The Dodge Charger has undergone the most radical reinvention in its near-60-year history. The V8 is gone for good and the top performer when Charger Daytona sales begin this fall is the 670 hp Scat Pack EV that gets to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds. A lower-power 496 hp electric R/T is also available (0-60 in 4.7 seconds), with more EV options to come, but the great news for traditional muscle car fans is that you can still get a combustion motor under the hood.
The 3.0-liter Hurricane six-powered Chargers that hit the market in early 2025 make 420 hp or 550 hp, and like the EVs, you'll be able to buy them with either two- or four doors. All-wheel drive is standard in every versions, but only the Scat Pack EVs get the sexy air bridge front wing, 'Daytona' name and Donut and Drift modes. No word on prices yet, but we expect the entry-level R/T EV to start at $50-55,000.
