Russell Sage College is welcoming refugees into their community in Albany, NY. Some students and staff volunteer to teach English. Others offer regular support to a family of ten who fled Kabul in August 2021 as they navigate their new lives. Says Ali, a professor at Russell Sage, "It's one of the best things I've ever done."
