From the KGW Vault on this Presidents Day: Richard Nixon gave a speech to a huge crowd at the Lloyd Center while campaigning for president in 1968. President Lyndon B. Johnson visited Portland in 1964, about a year after Kennedy was shot. We also found footage of FDR visiting the Grand Coulee Dam on the Columbia River in 1937.
