Foot massage is an important part of proper foot care. Much of this can be accomplished through self massage with a massage ball. Massage balls can come in all shapes and sizes. The Foot Rubz massage ball is made of rubber and features little knobs on the exterior of the ball to stimulate circulation in the soft tissues. However, a tennis ball, lacrosse ball or golf ball can be a great alternative. Massage the feet 2 minutes on each side. With plantar fasciitis we often recommend massaging the arches 20 minutes at a time. Lacking time? Bring the massage ball to work. This allows you to roll out your feet under the desk while working.
