As per the latest news on Mirror now, 20-year-old students commits suicide in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The young student ends his life in fear of NEET. The student consumed poison and inform his mother. However, he died en route to the hospital. This is the fifth such incident where a student has died by suicide over NEET fear. In response to consistent suicides in the state, The MLA previously September said that he will speak to Chief Minister MK Stalin on the measures taken to repeal NEET in Tamil Nadu.
Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian, on Saturday, September 11, confirmed that the state government is set to pass a resolution against the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) on September 13.
