Calling all trekkers! Join Parvat Vasi on an unforgettable journey to the majestic Milam Glacier, nestled in the heart of Uttarakhand's Johar Valley. This colossal glacier, the second largest in the state (#milamglacier), feeds the mighty Gori River, which ultimately merges with the Mahakali River at Jauljibi (#mahakali).

Our Trek Itinerary:
Day 1: Setting off from my hometown, Thal, we reached the charming town of Munsyari for breakfast. Continuing onward, we arrived at Lilam, the traditional starting point for the Milam trek.
Pro Tip: Nowadays, trekkers can proceed further from Lilam to Radgadi, offering a shorter trek distance. This is where our adventure truly began!
The Climb: Embarking from Radgadi, we reached our first campsite, Bugudyar, by 8 pm. The total distance from Lilam is approximately 55 km, while Radgadi offers a closer starting point at 47 km.
