In this video I show you how to create backlight portrait photographs in the rain using off camera flash.
Using speedlights to create backlight photographs is one of the most effective ways of creating stunning and creative portrait photographs - especially if it is raining as the off camera flash can light up all the raindrops and it looks amazing!
This was one of the wettest shoots I have done but I am really pleased with the results and it just illustrates that even if the weather is bad, with off camera flash it is possible to create really striking images even in bad weather.
Part 1 of this shoot, in which I create a composite portrait photograph, can be seen here: [ Ссылка ]
A huge thank you to Demi for modelling (you can follow her here: [ Ссылка ]) and for being so amazing on this shoot - the conditions made this shoot very hard, the rain was torrential at times but Demi never complained once!
Also, a big thank you to my friend Marc too for helping me create this image. Shoots like this are a real team effort and Marc was a massive help!
