Today I’m going to be showing you how to change brake pads on a 2019 Ford F-150.

Most vehicles will be very similar they just might use different size wrenches. Brake pads are the part of the brakes that run against the rotors and actually make the vehicle stop from the friction. So sooner or later they will ware out. They suggest that you change pads around 30-50 thousand miles but it all depends on how you drive and where you drive.

If you take your vehicle into a shop to change pads they will prolly charge you around $200, but by doing it yourself you can do it for under $50! It’s a very simple process that only requires a few basic tools. In all I think it took me about an hour to do both sides.
