If you are going to make Ninja Creami ice cream, you need a good cherry vanilla recipe in your back pocket. Fingers crossed that you get some fresh cherries on sale like I did! But don't worry, you can use frozen cherries in this whole food plant-based cherry chocolate chip ice cream recipe.
I just mashed pitted cherries with some non-dairy milk, a little vanilla, and the sweetener of your choice. I used a tablespoon of maple syrup, but you can use date syrup or paste instead.
Freeze 24 hours, then spin on light ice cream in your Ninja Creami. If it's powdery, add a few tablespoons of non-dairy milk and respin.
Make a well in the center and put a few tablespoons of vegan chocolate chips, and use the mix-in setting.
