Manuj Jindal's Journey and Strategy towards UPSC
It took him two years to start the preparation for the civil services exam. Like other IAS aspirants, he slogged for eight hours a day to cover the vast syllabus. He took online test series from Lukmaan IAS for GS and Essay which was very comprehensive.
** why Upsc Exams was ... Difficult ....Factors to make it difficult exam:
1- Very vast syllabus (Candidates need to be prepared for every bit of it)
2-9 Papers in Mains and 2 Papers in prelims, and then the interview
3- Written exam is conducted everyday continuously 5 days (lucky if you get one day break)
4- Candidates need to writes total 8000 words every
day in exam paper (Before noon and afternoon) 5- Very few seats and too many appear in exam
(Demand-supply gap)
6- Many get good guidance and many not so- inequality does exist.
7- Interview is unpredictable especially for those whose background is not attractive.
Why do few hard working students fail to qualify in this exam?
First let me clear that this exam should not be considered bigger than life. This is just another career like many others. (After selection, you will realize this)
