the title suggests that the butchers of Beaminster were having too much to drink. Actually they have been working to repair the plastering on this butchers shop in this tiny West Dorset town. At one time there were dozens of butchers in towns up and down the country. Nowadays though they are rapidly disappearing. Shops like Sainsburys, Tescos, Co-op, and Morrisons have helped in the decline. Here though one shop continues to thrive and is upgrading its building.
