On Friday 23rd December, I returned to Leeds onboard 800108 with headcode 1D05 which called additionally at Stevenage and Grantham because of issues with 1D04 0733 to Harrogate (cancelled due to a problem at the depot) and 1B80 0806 to Lincoln Central (departed at 0828). If I do a journey on LNER again, it'll be the slow service to York or one of the Edinburgh services that doesn't continue to Aberdeen, Stirling, Inverness or Glasgow Central. This is also one of only a few services to use the line between Loversall Carr Junction and Doncaster Flyover East Junction, to the south of Doncaster with the other ones being:
