We went on 3 day, 26 mile canoe camping trip in the Okefenokee Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. We launched from the Swannee Canal Recreation Boat Launch and traveled 12 miles to the Round top Canoe Shelter in Chase Prairie - a wonderfully secluded platform offering 360 degree views. On day 2 we traveled 11 miles to the Cedar Hammock Platform which is the only truly floating platform in the refuge. On day 3 we traveled a short 3 miles back to our launching site at the Swannee Canal.
