The MG HS has long been a good-value rival to family SUVs such as the Kia Sportage, Nissan Qashqai and Volkswagen Tiguan, albeit more so for practicality than the way it looked or what it was like to drive. The latest model aims to elevate standards in those latter areas while maintaining an aggressively low starting price of just over £25,000.
