STORYLINE:
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan laid a wreath Wednesday at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow.
The tomb is the war memorial dedicated to soldiers killed during World War II.
Pashinyan met with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Novo-Ogaryovo residence outside Moscow on Tuesday to discuss bilateral relations and the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
Recent clashes there have raised concerns about the stability of a cease-fire that ended the 2020 war over the separatist region.
The visit of the Armenian premier took place as Russia continues its special military operation in Ukraine.
