Part 1/3 of Scrin: Threshold 19 in my Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars - Hard walkthrough.
This level would be very quick if it wasn't for the timer, the slow as Mothership and the decision by me to annihilate the GDI when we're supposed to be overwhelmed and in need of retreating.
Bah, I found this level to be easier than I initially thought. the first part involves a turtling style similar to The Doctor Vanishes in Kane's Wrath. The difference is, the tech level is to the max now. In terms of defence, Lightning Spikes are your best bet. Two clumps of three should be enough, if you support with a few Tripods and a handful of Devestators. As for the south east base? leave it. Build a couple of Harvesters there if you want, but to be honest just leave it as cannon fodder. Keep 2-3 Devestators in the north east to destroy the bridge as Mammoths or other untis try to cross. Also, the cheapness of Scrin really shows in this level. Lightning Spikes HEAL your air units, as well as seemingly regenerating Forcefields waay faster. Keep 5+ Devestators to the south east with your Lightning Spikes and use the Planetary Assault Carrier to target any Juggernaughts, as well as regularly using the Ion Storm ability. Keep churning out Devestators, 10-15 is enough for attacking, though I wouldn't recommend attacking until the next part, where you can build Planetary Assault Carriers. GDI will regularly use Sonic Artillery and other Support Powers, to avoid an attack costing you keep an eye on your Power Level (make sure it's over 9000), and maintain 2 or more Power Plants than needed to support your defenses.
