The Planes of Fame Air Show 2015 opened with a special missing man flight consisting of a formation of ultra rare warbirds. The formation included a
Seversky AT-12 "Guardsman" flown by Johnny Maloney,
Curtiss P-36C "Hawk" flown by Steve Hinton,
Lockheed P-38J "Lightning" flown by Chris Fahey,
Republic P-47G "Thunderbolt" flown by Kevin Eldridge, and
North American A/C/D models flown by John Hinton, Steve Hinton Jr., Rob Patterson and John Muszala .
Everyone needs to experience a Planes of Fame air show in person at least once.
