This is a vinyl rip of the official mono fold-down of the Immigrant Song, off of Led Zeppelin III. No official LZ mono mixes were ever made, as by the late 60s, stereo had won out over mono (same reason The Beatles didn't release their last 2 albums in mono).
LZ I-III and Houses of the Holy all had official fold-down mixes releases in the US, for use by radio DJs (many of which were still using mono equipment at that time). While it is just a fold-down, it (to me at least) sounds better than just hitting the mono button on your device. While they definitely don't replace the stereo versions, they are a fun listen, especially their first two albums. I can upload some of those if enough people would like.
No, this rip isn't mine, I found it in a collection of rips of some of these fold-down albums. I'm not sure of the original source. Since I didn't make this, I decided it wasn't worthy of the main channel, so I put it here.
