A Lesson on How to Learn New Pieces on Classical Guitar or Fingerstyle Guitar (sometimes called fingerpicking). This is also a lesson on how to practice guitar works in general.

1. Feel the Time Signature and Rhythm
2. Familiarize yourself with the Key Signature
3. Play the Melody on it Own (and other voices/lines) and add dynamic shaping and phrasing
4. Map out the Postions and Shifts (Fretboard Areas)
5. Learn any difficult chord shapes
6. Isolate any other technical difficulties
7. Practice very slowly (sometimes with a metronome)
8. Enjoy!
