Ingredients:
250 gm Gram Flour
1 Cup Milk
150 gm Desi Ghee
150 gm Khoya / Mawa
200 gm Sugar
Water, half the quantity of sugar
1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
Almonds & Pistachios, chopped
Method:
- In a bowl add gram flour, milk and ghee. Mix everything well.
- Transfer this mixture on a pan and cook it for sometime on a low flame.
- Add ghee while stirring.
- Add khoya / mawa and mix everything well.
- Keep mixing it on a low flame for 20 minutes. Switch off the flame once it changes color.
- In another pan add sugar and water. Let it come to a boil and eventually to one string consistency. Switch off the flame. Add cardamom powder and mix well.
- Pour the gram flour mixture into the sugar syrup and mix well till it form a soft dough.
- Pour this dough on a greased tray and spread it evenly. Garnish it with chopped almonds and pistachios.
- Leave it to set for an hour.
- Cut it into pieces and serve.
