Welcome to our session series "Safe As Houses and Friends" where we ask some of the most talented and beloved musicians in our lives to choose a cover song for us to learn and record live with us together.

When we were planning to make this series there was one person who came to mind right away and we are so pleased to share this cover with her. Multi-award-winning JoJo Worthington has been a friend of ours for years and we've been so lucky to share the stage with her in so many unexpected places from humble cafes to summer festivals. With her new album "TCYK" coming out 07/07/19, this seemed like the perfect time to collaborate.

JoJo is one of the few artists we've met who can immediately captivate an entire audience and take them with her into a world that she alone could create. Her mastery of digital effects paired with cathedral-sized vocals and gentle ukulele work together to yield a performance that is magically rare and her own. She's a strong advocate for the empowerment of women and girls through music and art and it's clear that her impact will continue to spread and inspire many.
