What does creative excellence look like applied to luxury brands? The inaugural D&AD Luxury jury will share their thoughts, as they unpack what they saw in judging, and their thoughts on the sector at large.
It’s a difficult task to bring the person-to-person connection of shopping in a luxury store to a customer through their phone, says Boyoung Lee, D&AD Award Judge in the Luxury category and Chief Brand Officer at Korean department store Shinsegae International. But AKQA Paris did just that for the Graphite Pencil-winning app it built for its client Louis Vuitton. “This app seamlessly translated the physical connection of the in-person shopping experience,” says Lee. Fellow panellists agreed that the app was a ‘case study masterclass.’
