Because we don't have a ton of IFR approaches in Papua New Guinea, I like to practice shooting an approach, even if it is a VFR day. That way, when it's time to test your skills on a bad weather day, the IFR approach is second nature.
I am always trying to improve my skills in any way I can, and I learned something new on this flight as well.
