Saturday 26th May 2018 and Im off to the Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Railway, for the first day of its Cotswold Festival of Steam gala 2018. The lure of 6 new locomotives for haulage was too big to resist, so I made an early start, to arrive at Cheltenham Racecourse, for the first train of the day.
The weather started off terrible but got much better throughout the day and I managed to get haulage from all 8 locos in steam.
So, all in all, an excellent day out - thank you to the G&WR!
