Since some people are on the fence about whether to keep the OEM downpipe or go with an aftermarket one, we decided to help you in your decision-making and test it ourselves to give you some factual information! Included in this video are the dyno sheets from both scenarios!
Unitronic's officially released numbers for the MK8 GTI are:
Stage 1 - 336HP/352TQ
Stage 1+ - 361HP/377TQ
*Please remember that the officially released numbers are crank power figures and that our figures from the dyno here in Texas will differ from theirs.*
This is a back to back dyno session with both versions of the software in the same conditions, and the same conditions as previous dyno runs! If you know anything about this car, you know it has just about everything you can do to a MK8 GTI done to it, so these runs are a good test of what you can get out of this car with what is currently available on the market!
