India Mela Kobe is held annually by the Consulate General of India, Osaka-Kobe in partnership with Indian Diaspora organisations and Japanese cultural communities at the iconic Meriken Park in Kobe since the year 2010 to showcase India's rich tradition of art, culture, handicraft and handlooms and cuisine. Held over three days in Autumn, the festival draws over 150,000 visitors, and is as such one of the largest Indian Festivals held in a foreign country.
