The Flakpanzer 1 is the first anti-air vehicle in the German research tree, it comes with 2 crew: a driver who has some protection and a gunner who is completely exposed. It is equipped with a 20mm (Auto-cannon).
The Flakpanzer 1 20mm cannon has a clip size of 20 rounds and is basically the Pz II cannon with a higher fire rate and more rounds per clip. Whilst this means it can be used as a more effective Pz II you need to remember the completely exposed crew which makes you vulnerable to all forms of attack. The 20mm cannon has access to 4 Belts, (Default) with 34mm of penetration at 100m, (Sprfr.) with 2mm of penetration at 100m, (PzGr) with 34mm of penetration at 100m and (PzGr 40) with 45mm of penetration at 100m.
The Flakpanzer has a relatively slow speed considering it only weighs 5.5 tons; max speed of 31 km/h (RB) and a reverse speed of 6 km/h (RB). This means that traversing the map will be slow and will make you an easier target.
The Flakpanzer 1 primary role is an anti-air, its best used to support your team from aerial threats, but whilst the skies are clear there is no problem with lending a hand to the ground forces as you are capable in both ground and air combat.
