There has been no response from the Canadian government, police, or school officials to allegations by Indian law enforcement agencies of widespread trafficking of international students through Canada to the U.S.
India’s Enforcement Directorate said this week that a multi-city search revealed “incriminating” evidence of human trafficking and alleged links between dozens of Canadian colleges and two “entities” in Mumbai accused of illegally ferrying students across the Canada-U.S. border.
