In 2010, Haiti and Chile experienced strong and impactful earthquakes. On March 1, 2011, the Disasters Roundtable hosted a workshop, Using Lessons from Haiti and Chile to Reduce Global Risk, to identify, clarify, and transfer knowledge from the earthquakes in Haiti and Chile to reduce risk in future earthquake disasters. In a series of interviews, workshop participants offered insights on what they felt to be the key lessons and conclusions.
