This easy snail sketch tutorial shows you how to take a subject and simplify it, capturing it rapidly in rich colours and interesting line work. I talk through some of my sketching tips and watercolour hacks, and explain why I think this is a great watercolour exercise. The style used is the same as I use in my urban sketches and urban sketching tutorials.

It is suitable for watercolour beginners and others looking to try new techniques.
