In this video, I talk about how Madame Chiang Kai-Shek helped create Modern China. She did this by changing how the world viewed China and the Chinese people. She used her charm and force of personality to influence Americans to support China in their joint war against Japan and then the Communist. Even though she and her husband Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek never realized their dream of unifying China, she can still serve as an inspiration and example of people today can use their privilege to serve their country.
