BOYDE was launched, in 2017, by Samkelo Boyde Xaba, a Johannesburg-based designer who graduated from the Tshwane University of Technology with a National Diploma and B Tech honours degree in Fashion and Design Technology. Specialising in premium ready-to-wear, the signature references architecture, interior design, and simplicity to convey a pared-down minimalism of exceptional quality and fit in line with its sustainable fashion ethos of timeless style.
