Well after tinkering with camera settings I decided the one overhead light in my room was insufficient as far as lighting is concerned. So I checked out some DIY tutorials and took a quick trip to Lowes. Now the light is blinding...I may even consider a dimmer. I was supposed to get three lights but only did two...hence the small lamp behind me trying to get rid of some of the shadow. With all these lights the quality of the video is upped 10 fold, but now I need a tan and maybe to trim my beard. Everything is way more crisp. I also decided to add some ken burns zoom to spice it up even more!
Since Butch Trucks passed away today and he was a founding member of the Allman Brothers, I thought it would be fitting to test out my gear with a favorite of mine, Ramblin Man.
The guitar is a Custom Collings Winfield ordered straight from the factory in Austin Texas
The camera is a Zoom Q2n and an iPhone6s+
Editing was done in Final Cut Pro X
