This is the 2nd part of our tour into the Ajodhya circuit of Purulia district of West Bengal. Ajodhya pahar (Ajodhya Hill) is a popular hill station near Kolkata at Purulia district in West Bengal in India. Ajodhya hill upper and lower dam is part of the Purulia Pump Storage Project (PPSP). Ajodhya pahar is located near Baghmundi. Ajodhya pahar is a famous tourist spot and famous picnic spot in Purulia. There are many tourist places around Ajodhya hill like lower dam, upper dam, Bamni Falls, Mayur Pahar, Marble lake, Charida village, etc.

How to reach Ajodhya Pahar :
Go to Purulia rail station. Then take a car from Purulia to Ajodhya Pahar distance is 40 kilometer. Or go to Asansol or Andal railway station and take a car to reach Ajodhya Pahar.

Ajodhya Pahar sightseeing car fare
Rs. 1500-2000 covering popular tourist spots namely Purulia pump storage project lower dam and upper dam; Mayur pahar, wooden Durga temple, Ram temple, marble lake, Bamni Falls, Turga Falls. For visiting Charida village you have to pay Rs 800 -1000 extra. If you rent car on daily basis then charge is Rs 1500-2500 per day.
