Aloo Chicken Kebab
Servings - 3 - 4
INGREDIENTS
Water - 1.5 litres
Chicken breast - 400 grams
Boiled mashed potatoes - 500 grams
Onions - 120 grams
Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Ginger paste - 2 teaspoons
Green chili - 2 teaspoons
Coriander - 2 tablespoons
Mint - 2 tablespoons
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
Chilli flakes - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Beaten eggs
Bread crumbs
Oil - for shallow frying
PREPARATION
1. Heat 1.5 litres water in a heavy pot, add 400 grams chicken breast and bring it to a boil.
2. Boil the chicken till it cooked through.
3. Remove it from water and shred the chicken with the help of fork.
4. Transfer this into a bowl, add 500 grams boiled mashed potatoes, 120 grams onions, 1 teaspoon garlic paste, 2 teaspoons ginger paste, 2 teaspoons green chili, 2 tablespoons coriander, 2 tablespoons mint, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon chilli flakes, 1 teaspoon black pepper powder, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and mix all the ingredients well.
5. Take some mixture in your hand and shape it into cutles.
6. Dip this into the beaten eggs and roll it in bread crumbs.
7. Heat some oil in a pan and shallow fry these till golden brown and crispy from all sides.
8. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
9. Garnish with coriander.
10. Serve hot with chutney.
