Nissan Versa Note was approved for Ride Share Uber and Lyft. This car is not approved in all states. If you live in a heavy populated state like New York this car may not get approved. States that have regulations on Cab service like TLC regulations they may not approve a small car because of the size. However if you live in a state like North Carolina that does not have regulations on cab service it will get approved for Ride Share.
You do not need a large car for Ride Share Uber and Lyft. In my opinion it is best to get a small gas efficient vehicle like Nissan Versa,

All you need to do is make sure the car meets the year requirements and has 4 doors. Some of the above cars come in Coupe (2-doors) and of course this will not get approved. The car must be able to carry 5 people total… this is the driver and 4 passengers.
