Hello All. I am back after a gap of nearly 2 years and this video is in the English language. This is about the best and authentic books of Mahabharata. I have used videos of Mahabharata books from my own collection. C Rajagopalachari's Mahabharat is a good book for an interim knowledge. Parents can buy Amar Chitra Katha 's set of three books. The books are catchy for kids and would attract them to read the Mahabharata.
Avid Hindi readers can go for Gita Press's Mahabharata in two volumes.
For detailed and authentic Mahabharata knowledge one must go for Bibek Debroy's BORI critical edition. This book was created after scrutinizing all possible 1259 manuscripts of the Mahabharata. The research took around 40 years and it was Indian government's effort to weed out the fake/regional/popular notion from Mahabharata. KMG Mahabharat is also an unabridged Mahabharata book and available on the public domain.
