Lara Hanlon is a Designer and Design Thinker based in Dublin, Ireland. She is passionate about delivering thoughtful user experiences and beautiful, innovative design solutions to complex problems.
Currently working as a Designer and Facilitator at IBM Studios Dublin, Lara collaborates daily with researchers, designers, engineers, and executives, to educate global teams working in the tech and enterprise industry about the value of design. Lara also lectures part-time at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design + Technology (IADT), the institute that awarded her a BA (Hons) Degree in Visual Communications Design in 2013.
Everyone wants to use products and services that are relevant and enjoyable but creating and delivering such experiences can be a challenge! In this case study, Lara will share insights on IBM Design Thinking and how the framework has helped enterprise teams create human-centered outcomes for customers and end-users; improve group collaboration and communication over time and geography; and influence the culture of a 100+year-old tech company.
