A WAR OF ORC CLANS
The Nightstalkers used to be a small group of nomad orc mercenaries, serving whoever paid more for their services. If a great lord needs a village of humans or elves to be destroyed and pays well, the orcs are willing to do it, it’s nothing personal. Striking at night they gained the Nightstalker name from their fearful victims and use it as a badge of pride to this day.
Some years ago their leader, the orc Ygash, hungered for more power. In her journey to strengthen the clan, she defeated a giant and consumed his body and his power, becoming a giant herself. Only her most loyal soldiers followed in her footsteps and they all became giant-like. The Nightstalkers had never been more powerful, contracts came from all around the continent and the orcs could pick and choose their targets.
Ygash’s greed also grew to giant size, and her tactics became more aggressive. Instead of waiting for a contract, she and her clan went from town to town, threatening the population. If they couldn’t pay up the Nightstalkers would burn everything to the ground.
There must be an end to this bloodshed. Even Gorok, a half-orc who used to be part of the Nightstalker, can see it. Heroes have risen to face the threat, but how will they bring this menace to an end? Will they have to end every single orc in the clan, or will they be able to change the orc’s mind and turn them all against Ygash?
