Various people in race crowd, bowler hats, etc. as horses are being mounted in the paddock for the 1962 German Derby at Hamburg's Horn Track. Start to finish of German Derby which is won by "Herero" with Hien Bollow in the saddle. Good race coverage, especially slow motion shot towards the finishing line. MS. The winning pair are led into winners circle and Hein Bollow poses as his mount "Herero" starts to eat the laurel wreath. (F.G.)
