Catching Blue Tips Old School Style with Chicken Necks and Balloon Ribbon instead of String. Showing my nephews how to catch Blue Crabs. The store was out of kite string so I went with a roll of balloon ribbon. I was surprised how well it worked, you can really feel everything the crabs are doing... even the smallest crabs feel like giants.
