I’m John Reuter, an Air Force veteran and realtor, working on changes to Wisconsin’s Veterans Property Tax Credit. I’m advocating for two critical updates:

1. Lowering the eligibility threshold from 100% service-connected disability to 70%, making the credit more accessible for veterans.

2. Transforming the tax credit into a tax exemption, eliminating the upfront payment of property taxes and boosting affordability for veterans across the state.
