Disaster Risk Assessor
We live in precarious times - we all live under “Damoclean Swords”. We are all exposed to different hazards. To different disasters. We are all differently vulnerable. The Disaster Risk Assessor App focuses on how we are exposed to risk through interactions between hazards and vulnerabilities. The App addresses your vulnerabilities to disasters. Drawing on internationally respected Standards for disaster management and vulnerability assessment, this App applies the standards to align with your context. Risk is assessed in order to better manage it. Where your risk is unacceptably high the app supports effective planning - both before and after disaster impact.

Given the significant risks to the things you care about, action needs to be taken. (Identify, and describe, the things you rely on in your context. Focus on resources – as listed in NFPA 1600 (essentially, the things you must have / rely on).
For each of the identified processes or prioritized activities required for you to achieve your objectives, identify the things you “care about” that support the processes or critical activities by focusing on the following:
(1) Personnel
(2) Equipment
(3) Infrastructure (including premises)
(4) Technology (including plant and equipment)
(5) Information (digital and analog)
(6) Supply chain (supplies and suppliers)
