We buy low birthweight bulls for our heifers to making calving easier and sometimes it doesn't turn out exactly how we would like. There is not an exact science to getting bulls that will throw smaller calves during calving.
We have nearly 40 heifers to breed for 2024 calving and we hope that we got the right bulls or we may be pulling a lot of calves in early 2024.
