On the eve of Maha Shivaratri festival, a large number of Hindu holy men called Sadhus gather at Nepal's famed Pashupatinath Temple. More than 7,000 monks and thousands of pilgrims from Nepal and India are expected to visit the temple and many have already arrived. Maha Shivaratri known as the night of Hindu god Lord Shiva is observed with great fervour in Nepal.
